I attended the 2012 Sewanee Writers' Conference in my home state of Tennessee as a contributor to Andrew Hudgins's and Maurice Manning's workshop. I got my ego whipped by some great poetry, writers, and whiskey. I hope to return one day as a scholar or fellow!
